What is McCoy Wedding Films?

McCoy Wedding Films manages 5 data types including bookings. Helps you organize, track, and share your work in 1 place for teams and solo users.

How far in advance should we book?

We recommend booking 12–18 months in advance, especially for peak wedding season (April–October). Popular dates fill quickly, and securing your date early ensures you get the team and package you want. That said, we do occasionally have last-minute availability — reach out and we'll let you know.

How do we officially secure our date?

A signed contract and a retainer deposit (typically 25% of your package total) officially hold your date. Until both are received, your date remains available to other couples.

What happens if our date changes?

Life happens! We'll do our best to accommodate date changes based on availability. Simply reach out as soon as possible and we'll work with you to find a solution.

Do you travel for weddings?

Absolutely. While we're based on the Gulf Coast and serve Alabama, Florida, and Louisiana, we travel worldwide for destination weddings. Travel fees apply for events outside our primary service area — contact us for a custom quote.

What areas do you primarily serve?

Our primary coverage area includes Fairhope, Orange Beach, Gulf Shores, Pensacola, Alys Beach, 30A, Mobile, and New Orleans. We regularly travel throughout the Southeast and beyond for destination weddings.

How long until we receive our wedding film?

Standard delivery is 8–12 weeks after your wedding date. Our Premium and Luxury packages include priority delivery timelines. If you need your film sooner, ask about our rush delivery add-on.

What format will we receive our film in?

All films are delivered via a private, shareable online link in HD quality. Depending on your package, you may also receive an engraved USB drive with your film saved on it — a beautiful keepsake to cherish forever.

How long is a typical wedding film?

Wedding film lengths vary by package. Our Standard package includes a 5-minute cinematic film, our Premium includes a 6–10 minute film plus a 30–45 minute ceremony film, and our Luxury package includes a 12-minute film with full ceremony coverage.

Can we choose the music for our film?

We carefully select music that complements the tone and emotion of your story. You're welcome to share songs that are meaningful to you and we'll do our best to incorporate them, subject to music licensing availability.

How many filmmakers will be at our wedding?

All of our packages include two skilled filmmakers. Having two cameras ensures no moment goes uncaptured — from the groom's first look to the bride's walk down the aisle, we capture it all simultaneously.

Do you work with wedding planners and coordinators?

Yes, and we love it. We collaborate closely with your planner and other vendors to ensure the day runs smoothly and every important moment is captured without disruption.

Will you be at our rehearsal?

Rehearsal dinner coverage is available as an add-on or is included in our Luxury package. Knowing the flow of your ceremony ahead of time also helps us position our team perfectly on the wedding day.

What is included in your packages?

Each package is designed to offer a complete experience. All packages include two skilled filmmakers and digital delivery. Higher-tier packages add longer film edits, ceremony coverage, USB drives, and priority delivery. Visit our Packages page for a full breakdown.

What are your payment options?

We offer two options: pay a 50% deposit to secure your date with the remaining balance due 30 days before your wedding, or pay in full at the time of booking. Both options are processed securely through Stripe.

Can we book photography and videography together?

Absolutely — and we encourage it. Booking both services with us ensures a seamlessly coordinated team with a unified aesthetic. You can select both a video and photo package together on our Packages page.
